The Empower Team hosted a short-term mission team from Life Church in Roscoe, IL.
The team hit the ground running! From morning until night the they prayed, preached, outreached, served, played, taught and blessed thousands of people in Thailand and Myanmar!
In just a few short days, we did baptisms, outreaches, women’s conference, leadership training, sports day, children’s evangelism and Bible teaching while traveling hundreds of miles in two countries!
One of the highlights of the trip was when the team was invited into a monastery by the Head Monk who gave them permission to share the Gospel message with over 650 children. With power and simplicity the children hung on every word and responded with great joy as they experienced their first glimpse into God’s love and salvation for them.
