On January 15th, Empower International celebrated our 15th anniversary. Wow! We have come a long way since 2003!
I’ll never forget the excitement, the sense of adventure and honestly, the trepidation I felt as we set out on this mission to the nations of the 10/40 Window.
Since then until today God has blessed the mission work of Empower International beyond our wildest dreams!
Even after selling and giving away all that we owned to follow God’s call to Asia, we didn’t have a ton of resources to get things started. However, we were full of vision, teeming with faith in God and overflowing with determination!
Today, by God’s grace, we have teams of people working with Empower International in Thailand, Burma and Pakistan! We have acquired land and buildings to create ministry bases, churches, schools and children’s homes in all of these countries.
We’ve empowered leaders in these nations to start over 20 churches, 4 Bible schools and a fully functioning school for children in Pakistan. We are currently providing education for over 600 children and the number increases every year.
We have opened or support 10 orphanages and child rescue centers in Thailand and Burma. We have also completed over 100 water well projects in communities ravaged by extreme poverty.
In 15 years, Empower International has trained thousands of national leaders and seen thousands of precious people come to Christ through our evangelistic outreaches.
We are poised to ride the wave of momentum that God has caused to swell before us.

This year we will complete construction on a prep-school for 120 children in Burma as well as begin construction on a vocational school in Pakistan.
All of our ministry projects are bursting at the seams as we are positioned to help more and more people in the years ahead.
